Background

ONELIFE ASSURANCE ZAMBIA is seeking a Sales Team Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and onboard Team Leaders and new sales agents.
  • Set clear performance objectives and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews to enhance productivity.
  • Motivate and engage the team through recognition programs and incentives.
  • Drive sales for life insurance products to individuals and groups.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Prospect for new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Monitor sales processes for compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare reports for management.
  • Gather and communicate market feedback to inform product development.
  • Identify opportunities for growth in new and existing markets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 (or equivalent)
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 2–3 years in insurance sales, with proven leadership experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to coach and motivate teams.
  • Knowledge of life insurance products and regulatory frameworks
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
