Roles and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Influence external change. Build relationships with key external stakeholders, expand networks with understanding of the context and deliver advice to support FCDO objectives.
• Provide a clear vision to unite work related to Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) development in Zambia. Ensure a creative combination of interventions have been designed and delivered to support SME growth.
- Bring together different UK partners under the Green Growth Compact signed with the Government of Zambia (GRZ) to ensure the collective UK effort is driving inclusive growth.
- Advise partners on issues related to business environment reform and SME growth, to help promote good policy, regulation and practice. This will include advice to the Presidential Delivery Unit in State House and the Public Private Dialogue Forum.
- Lead the UK Zambia Green Growth Compact which will involve ownership of UK deliverables.
