Job Summary:
Awanachi, a dynamic organization dedicated to impactful media and content creation, is seeking two experienced Project Officers to join our team. The Project Officers will manage and coordinate projects related to media production, content development, and marketing initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for media, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage media and content-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans, monitoring progress to ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
- Liaise with internal teams, including writers, designers, and marketing staff, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Manage project deliverables, ensuring high-quality content that meets Awanachi’s standards for media, blogs, and social platforms.
- Oversee the coordination of marketing campaigns, events, or media launches tied to project goals.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to keep initiatives on track.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and financial records.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging creativity and innovation in project execution.
- Contribute to the development of new project ideas, focusing on impactful content and media strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably in media, content creation, or marketing.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, adapting to a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for media, content creation, and creating impactful narratives that resonate with audiences.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in managing project deliverables.
