Job Purpose:
The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring smooth front desk operations. This role involves managing reservations, handling inquiries, and contributing to a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression.
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, processing payments as needed.
  • Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and complaints with professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings and guest information.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Provide information about lodge services, local attractions, and activities.
  • Adhere to lodge policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or front desk roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems (e.g., booking software).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong multitasking and time-management abilities.
