Job Purpose:
The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring smooth front desk operations. This role involves managing reservations, handling inquiries, and contributing to a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression.
- Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, processing payments as needed.
- Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and complaints with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and guest information.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Provide information about lodge services, local attractions, and activities.
- Adhere to lodge policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or front desk roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems (e.g., booking software).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong multitasking and time-management abilities.
