Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide procedural advice to committees;
  • Liaise with committee chairpersons on the dates for committee meetings;
  • Plan committee activities such as meetings, tours and field visits;
  • Communicate dates and times for committee meetings;
  • Prepare budgets for committee sittings and tours;
  • Record proceedings of committee meetings and tours;
  • Manage correspondence for the committee internally and externally;
  • Liaison between the committee and management on the resolutions and courses of action of committees;
  • Draft minutes and reports of committees;
  • Draft speeches for committees;
  • Carry out research for committees on various topics;
  • Draft annual programmes of work for committees;
  • Preparation of documentation for committees; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Full Grade 12 School Certificate;
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University;
  • Master’s degree is an added advantage ; and
  • Two (2) years working experience.
