Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide procedural advice to committees;
- Liaise with committee chairpersons on the dates for committee meetings;
- Plan committee activities such as meetings, tours and field visits;
- Communicate dates and times for committee meetings;
- Prepare budgets for committee sittings and tours;
- Record proceedings of committee meetings and tours;
- Manage correspondence for the committee internally and externally;
- Liaison between the committee and management on the resolutions and courses of action of committees;
- Draft minutes and reports of committees;
- Draft speeches for committees;
- Carry out research for committees on various topics;
- Draft annual programmes of work for committees;
- Preparation of documentation for committees; and
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate;
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University;
- Master’s degree is an added advantage ; and
- Two (2) years working experience.
