(a) Job Purpose
To undertake the provision of legal services and prosecution of corruption cases in order to facilitate dispensation of justice and ensure that the Commission operates within the Law.
(b) Principal Accountabilities
- To undertake effectively legal representation for the Commission in order to safeguard its interests;
- To undertake effectively provision of legal advice/opinion in order to ensure that the operations of the Commission are within the Law;
- To undertake effectively prosecution of corruption and related cases in order to facilitate dispensation of justice;
- To undertake effectively the drafting and review of legal documents in order to safeguard the interests of the Commission;
- To undertake effectively preparation of lease agreements, contracts and assignment deeds in order to secure properties of the Commission;
- To undertake effectively provision of secretariat services to the Legal Level Technical Committee of the National Anti-Corruption Policy in order to facilitate smooth conduct of meetings;
(c) Qualifications
- Full Form V/Grade 12 Certificate; Bachelor of Laws (LLB);
- Member of Law Association of Zambia; Advocate of the High Court of Zambia;
- Applicants must be aged between 25 and 35 years old.
(d) Communication Skills:
- Ability to write technical and analytical reports;
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
