JOB DETAILS:
Goldenlay Agri Ltd is the largest producer, supplier, and distributor of table eggs across Zambia, with a well-established brand recognized by both retailers and consumers. We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of:
Mechanical Fitters
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical repairs and fabrication work as assigned.
- Conduct fabrication and repair activities within poultry houses.
- Participate in mechanical maintenance tasks, including installation, alignment, overhauling, and repair of machinery.
- Maintain de-dusting units and tension chains in poultry houses.
- Conduct oiling and greasing of chains and bearings.
- Assist in servicing, replacing, assembling, and fitting machinery components and installations.
- Support breakdown response, maintenance, overhauling, and commissioning of machines and systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, work procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Follow equipment handling procedures, ensuring maintenance tools and personnel are cleared before handing over equipment for operation.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Minimum of a Craft Certificate or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
