Job Overview
The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while contributing to sales and marketing efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative tasks, compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the company’s broader operational and marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage staff leave schedules and maintain accurate leave records.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of staff timesheets.
• Maintain daily cash schedules and ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory requirements, including:
NAPSA (National Pension Scheme Authority)
ZRA (Zambia Revenue Authority)
NHIMA (National Health Insurance Management Authority)
• Manage and renew certifications such as:
Fire safety certificates
Health certificates
Council licenses
Sales & Marketing Responsibilities (Commission-Based):
• Support the development and execution of marketing strategies.
• Promote African Safari Experience through social media, email campaigns, and other channels.
• Assist in identifying and pursuing sales leads to generate bookings and revenue.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Education: Minimum of a diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role. Experience in sales or marketing is an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with financial and payroll software is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
