Job Advert Summary
• An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Contract Manager to be responsible for the administration handling, despatch and transportation from loading to the final delivery point as per customer’s requirement.
• To support the contract management process within an organization. They will work closely with the General manager or other members of the operational team to ensure the smooth execution and administration of contracts.
• Initiates, plans, co-ordinates, motivates and supervises the operational activities in a division of the depot.
• Ensures that all customers receive efficient, timeous deliveries of products/goods.
• Plans, executes, supervises and controls all the activities connected with the transportation of finished goods from the point of final order assembly at the depot, to customers in the correct quality, quantity, time and condition so as to ensure the depot operates at maximum efficiency.
• Liaises closely with immediate superior.

Minimum Requirements
• Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics / Road Transport Management
• Trade in mechanics will be an added advantage
• Must be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Word and Excel packages .
• 3-5 year senior supervisory experience essential and experience in the Agriculture industry.
• Knowledge of relevant Zambia Labour Relations legislation and procedures.
• Relevant Road Traffic Legislation knowledge.
• Interpersonal Skills with special emphasis on Industrial relations.
• Excellent customer service skills
