JOB DETAILS:
Our client is looking for a Boilermaker Foreman to join their team
In this position role would be to lead a small team of boilermakers either at the workshop or on a site unsupervised at most times, will be required to inspect and analyse works carried out by team, able to inspect welds and joins;
• will be expected to identify and correct any substandard works.
• should be able to read blueprints and follow measurements accurately.
• should be safety minded and have situational awareness in a working environment.
• should have good housekeeping attributes as well as the up keep and maintenance of tooling and equipment, a firm team leader.
• will report directly to his line manager as well as the managing director.

Key Skills
• Able to work unsupervised
• Able to lead a small team (2 – 6 people)
• Good reporting / communication skills

Qualifications
• Grade 12 certificate
• Craft certificate / trade papers in boiler making
• 5-10 years’ experience in workshop / site environment
• Able to read schematics / technical drawings
• Computer literate
• CAD / AUTOCAD proficient

Education Requirement: No Requirements

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60
