Job Purpose
Branding and Marketing Executive will develop and implement marketing strategies that promote a company’s image or brand. Ensuring that the company’s brand message is consistent across all marketing channels, including social media, advertising, and product packaging. Take the lead in increaseing brand awareness, drive customer engagement and loyalty, and ultimately increase sales.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies that promote the company’s brand and message.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the brand strategy to raise brand awareness, visibility and positioning, hence increasing product/service value in the market.
- Work with the Head of Marketing in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and advertising.
- Conducting market research, analyzing consumer trends, and developing targeted campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
- Work closely with product development teams to ensure that new products align with the overall brand message and that product launches are effectively marketed to the target audience. Also work with sales teams to develop promotional campaigns that drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Analysing Marketing Trends / Requirements for the Brands and preparing / developing Marketing plans.
- Planning and coordinating all Marketing Events, Campaigns and Activities
- Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling content that effectively communicates the brand message.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams: You will work closely with product development, sales, and management teams to ensure that marketing campaigns align with overall business objectives. You will also collaborate with external partners, such as advertising agencies and media outlets, to develop and execute campaigns.
- Be responsible for analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting on brand performance to management. This will involve tracking key performance indicators, such as website traffic, social media engagement, and sales data.
- Carrying out market research in order to keep up to date with customer trends, as well as trying to predict future trends

Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any other business discipline.
- Must have a minimum of 4+ years’ experience in Marketing and Branding
- Must have at least 2 years management experience in a commercial business setting
- Must have proven experience of works done in Marketing and Branding
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
- An understanding of trends and an ability to respond to customers’ wishes
- Computer literacy: Excel, Word, Power point, Microsoft outlook
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Experience with and an understanding of market research
- Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing
