Background information about the job or company:

To identify, develop, and implement business growth strategies, partnerships, and investment opportunities in order to attract investors, diversify revenue streams, and enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of the Lusaka South Multi-Facility Economic Zone.

Responsibilities:

  • - Manages periodically, the development, review and implementation of policies, business development, investment and marketing policies, guidelines, strategies and procedures.
  • - Manages effectively, the preparation of quarterly reports to the relevant Board Committee.
  • - Manages effectively, the preparation and implementation of the strategic and operational plans.
  • - Manages effectively, the identification, engagement, and attraction of local and foreign investors.
  • - Manages effectively, the development and implementation of business development strategies and initiatives.
  • - Manages accurately, the preparation of annual marketing plans and budgets, conducts market research, and develops investment feasibility reports.
  • - Manages timely, development and dissemination of promotional materials, investment prospectuses, and digital content.
  • - Manages effectively, the design, coordination, and implementation of revenue-generating projects.
  • - Manages effectively, the maintenance of strong relationships with existing and prospective investors.
  • - Manages effectively, collaboration with government ministries, financial institutions, training entities, and other stakeholders.
  • - Manages accurately, consolidation and regular updating of investment information, databases, and prospectuses.
  • - Manages effectively the tracking of performance indicators and program implementation.
  • - Manages timely, the submission of mandatory operational reports.
  • - Manages timely development and implementation of individual work plans.
  • - Manages effectively, human, financial, material and other resources.

Qualifications:

  • - Full Grade 12 Certificate.
  • - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Development Studies, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • - Master’s degree in Finance, Marketing or Business Administration is an added advantage.
  • - 5 years post qualifying experience.
  • - Professional Membership to a relevant body.
