Position Overview:
The CFOO is a senior executive role responsible for financial strategy, resource allocation, and operational efficiency. The position involves financial management, risk management, compliance, and strategic decision-making to ensure the organization's growth and sustainability. The CFOO will also lead finance, legal, risk management, information systems, and operations functions and serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement organizational strategy in alignment with financial and operational goals.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Lead legal services, risk management, and internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain financial integrity.
- Integrated Operations Management: Align resources to meet impact goals, including workforce, finances, and technology.
- Organizational Transformation: Lead change management and business transformation efforts to improve operational processes and systems.
- Leadership and Team Management: Foster a culture of inclusivity and align resources for maximum impact.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- 15-20 years of senior-level experience in a complex international organization.
- Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.
- Experience in compliance, risk management, and organizational transformation.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Fluency in English; French language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: Midpoint of $250,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
