Background information about the job or company:

Kabundi Resources Limited is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced Company Secretary to support the Board of Directors and ensure effective corporate governance and statutory compliance within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • - Serve as the principal advisor to the Board of Directors on corporate governance and compliance matters.
  • - Provide guidance on legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining accurate company records, and acting as the key liaison between the company and external stakeholders.
  • - Work closely with the Chairman and the CEO to ensure the proper functioning of the Board and the integrity of the Board governance process.
  • - Organize and coordinate board and shareholder meetings, liaise with regulators, auditors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • - Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
  • - Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) or equivalent body.
  • - Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • - Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
