Keda Zambia Ceramics is currently seeking a proactive Corporate Affairs Officer with 2–3 years of relevant experience to support stakeholder engagement, corporate communications, regulatory compliance, and CSR initiatives. This role is ideal for a driven professional, eager to contribute to a reputable manufacturing company and strengthen its corporate image and external relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder & Government Relations
- Assist in maintaining positive relationships with government agencies, regulators, local authorities, and community leaders.
- Support engagement with external stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations and compliance with local requirements.
Corporate Communications & Public Relations
- Support the development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies.
- Draft press releases, speeches, reports, and official correspondence.
- Coordinate media engagements and monitor media coverage related to the company.
Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Assist in ensuring company compliance with statutory, regulatory, and licensing requirements.
- Maintain records of permits, approvals, and regulatory submissions.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- Support planning and execution of CSR initiatives and community development programs.
- Prepare reports on CSR activities and community engagement outcomes.
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with corporate policies.
- Support organization of corporate events, meetings, and official visits.
- Take on any other responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Project Administration
- Provide administrative support to corporate projects and initiatives
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities
- Maintain project documentation, records, and correspondence
- Track project progress, deadlines, and deliverables
- Prepare project reports, presentations, and status updates
- Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to support project execution
- Assist in monitoring project budgets and tracking expenses
Administrative Support
- Maintain corporate records, databases, and filing systems
- Coordinate office logistics related to corporate affairs activities
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Business Administration, Law, International Relations, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant work experience in corporate affairs, public relations, government relations, or a similar role.
- Experience working with public institutions, media, or community stakeholders is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
