Job Summary
Reporting to the General Manager –Corporate Business, the Corporate Business Officer will be responsible for developing and managing relationships of all stakeholders both internally and externally, which includes management of staff, individual customers, corporate customers & brokers. Have an open and effective communications at all levels in the organization. Drive corporate business sales by delivering substantially above budget performance through new corporate business acquisition

Main Duties/Responsibilities
• Broker engagements for GLA,Credit Life
• Pipeline management for new prospects from brokers own initiatives etc.
• Presentation of new business, product enhancements and x-selling
• Issuing of quotations
• Debt Management by enforcement of credit policy
• Reporting on broker engagement, pipeline management, Quotes Tenders and Sales Performance
• Any other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications and experience
• Full Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• Degree in Business, Insurance Sales and Marketing or related discipline
• At least 3 years relevant working experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point programmes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Adaptable to working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
• Flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
