Background
Wave 7 operates a structured, multi-branch sales model designed to identify, diagnose, and digitally transform businesses across Zambia.
ROLE PURPOSE
The Digital Sales Agent is responsible for identifying businesses, guiding them through the Wave 7 Transformation Wizard (DTK), and converting qualified prospects into consulting engagements.
This is a consultative sales role, not aggressive selling.
Key Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead Generation & Outreach
- Identify potential business clients (SMEs, growing companies, organisations)
- Approach prospects physically, digitally, or via referrals
- Introduce Wave 7 and its digital transformation offering clearly and confidently
2. Guided Business Diagnosis
- Walk clients through the Wave 7 Start Transformation Wizard
- Help clients select:
- Industry
- Operations type
- Business scale
- Pain points
- Ensure accurate and honest information is captured
3. Client Education & Trust Building
- Explain Wave 7 solutions in simple, non-technical language
- Build trust and credibility with business owners
- Position Wave 7 as a long-term partner, not a quick service provider
4. Conversion & Handover
- Convert qualified leads into consulting engagements
- Capture and submit all required business details correctly
- Hand over qualified clients to the Operations / Consulting team
5. Reporting & Discipline
- Track leads, conversions, and activity using Wave 7 systems
- Meet weekly performance targets
- Maintain professionalism and integrity at all times
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALITIES
Must-Have
- Strong communication skills (English + local language advantage)
- Confidence speaking to business owners and managers
- Ability to learn quickly and follow structured processes
- Smartphone literate (WhatsApp, forms, basic digital tools)
- Self-discipline and reliability
Nice-to-Have
- Previous sales, marketing, or customer-facing experience
- Understanding of business operations
- Interest in technology, systems, or business improvement
