JOB DETAILS:
  Yalelo is seeking a highly analytical, meticulous and hands-on Draftsman with extensive experience in Auto cad systems. The Draftsman will work closely with our Engineers to design drawings using Auto – CAD.
This position is open to Zambians only.
Location: The role will be primarily based at the Yalelo farm in Siavonga but may require occasional travel to Lusaka..

  The Right-Fit candidate will:
• Perform design work and calculations.
• Perform drafting/ preliminary drawings for sophisticated drawings.
• Liaise with other Engineering sections on drafting matter
• Seek new ideas/ solutions to improve the current designs, work methods and procedures.
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Perform other duties as necessary in support of Yalelo objectives.
• Industrial or structural design experience, a plus

  Our Draftsman should have:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant qualification
• Industry Experience: At least Two (2) years work experience, preferably in aquaculture/ offshore industry.
• Certifiable technical training in the field of CAD drafting required.
• Knowledge of aquaculture marine systems.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team-based environment.
• Ability to work a schedule outside business hours and/or flexible shifts.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work in a team.
• Be detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Experience with and Knowledge of Auto CAD Design System
