Overview:
This position requires strong knowledge and experience with Shopify and Graphic design. the job involves growing the e-commerce side of Umoyo and hence we need someone who is entrepreneurially minded and motivated, i.e. this is not a purely technical position.
Must have understanding of Shopify data analytics and strong creative design skills. Must be capable of designing e-mail communication. Knowledge of social media advertising a plus.
This job will be a combination of online store management, customer and graphic design.

Responsibilities:
• Online store management including shipping updates, vendor and customer communication. Must be able to interface with connected social platforms.
• Maintain Umoyo’s online store: photo database and uploading new products, generating product descriptions, tracking inventory
• Manage online store orders and communicate with shipping/fulfillment centre
• Assist in creating and sharing promotional material through email marketing channels and social media
• Working with our graphic designers to assist with website, promotional material, and in-store branding
• Product promotion through social and digital advertising

Qualifications:
• Three years or more experience with one or more of the following: website management, e-commerce retail management
• Social media marketing advertising skills
• Ability to confidently take on tasks and manage aspects of the business independently
• Strong verbal communication and writing skills; this job requires frequent interactions with our customers and working closely with other employees
• Website and database management, and/or the ability to quickly learn new platforms
• Proficiency with Google Drive, the Adobe Suit and Shopify and/or ability to learn new skills where needed
• Basic photography and photo editing skills; studio photography and Adobe Photoshop editing are a plus
• Graphic design skills working with the Adobe Suite is a plus
• Website creation or coding skills a pluss
• Interest in the natural health and fitness business
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends (websites are always open for business)
• Must be able to work remotely
