Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead the promotion and user acquisition strategy for our election-focused mobile app. The ideal candidate will combine digital marketing expertise with a strong understanding of civic engagement, political communication, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for app launch and growth.
- Manage social media campaigns, content creation, and community engagement.
- Build partnerships with NGOs, election observers, civil society groups, and media organizations.
- Run targeted digital ads (Facebook, X/Twitter, Google, LinkedIn) to reach stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools.
- Provide recommendations to improve user acquisition, retention, and brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in digital marketing (preferably in tech, civic engagement, or elections).
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, SEO, and content marketing.
- Experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Bonus: Experience working with NGOs, civic-tech projects, or political campaigns.
