We are looking for an Entry Area Manager East Region ready to shape and execute a regional marketing strategy that drives brand growth and translates corporate vision into measurable results.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Translate the corporate strategy into a cohesive marketing strategy that drives BAT brand penetration, maximises Return On Investment, and integrates market, consumer, and customer insights across the organisation to enable effective strategy formulation.
  • Regional development and implementation of a trade marketing & distribution strategy that meets objectives set for consumer and customer segments.
  • Drive the implementation of the marketing strategy by identifying necessary changes in strategy and priorities during implementation while optimising effectiveness and efficiency of company’s resources.
  • Drive an ongoing process of marketing evaluation and innovation in order to achieve the maximum competitiveness in availability, communications, price and image.
  • Manage KPIs for all Trade Marketing reps and track ongoing results.
  • Manage allocated budget for all trade marketing activities in the region.
  • Ensure compliance with Responsible Marketing Framework and dissemination of knowledge and learning to your team, facilitating productivity gains and continuous improvement.

What are we looking for? 

  • Degree in a Marketing or Business-related field.
  • Certified ZAQA qualifications.
  • 3-4 years’ experience in tobacco or a similar FMCG company.
  • Strong operational management.
  • Motivating, coaching and developing people.
  • Strategic planning and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
