Grassroot Soccer Zambia (GRS) is an adolescent health organization that leverages the power of soccer to equip young people with the life-saving information, services, and mentorship they need to live healthier lives. Founded in 2005, GRS works across five provinces (Lusaka, Eastern, Muchinga, Northern and Copperbelt), and brings deep experience in youth-led sexual and reproductive health (SRH) programmes, HIV, gender based violence and mental health.
Grassroot Soccer Zambia is seeking to fill the following Intern positions, which will work closely with various team members to support our programs and initiatives:
Responsibilities or duties
- Provide administrative support to the Finance team.
- Handle petty cash transactions.
- Prepare payment vouchers.
- Follow up on invoices and receipts for all payments raised.
- Ensure that finance documents are well organized and properly filed for easy retrieval.
- Support the finance team in preparing documentation for the annual audit.
- Collaborate with the administrative intern on other operational activities under the human resource and operations units.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong time management skills.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Moderate to strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
