Our client in the Paint and Coating industry is looking for a;

Finance Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our financial operations in a dynamic Paint and Coating Industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in audit, hands-on experience with the Sage X3 ERP system, and deep familiarity with FMCG. The role requires a proactive manager who can drive financial integrity, support strategic decisions, and ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management G Reporting

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide detailed variance and trend analysis.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.

ERP G Systems Oversight

  • Serve as the finance lead for Sage X3 ERP processes and reporting.
  • Ensure proper integration of finance modules with inventory, procurement, and production.
  • Identify and implement system improvements and automation opportunities.

Audit G Compliance

  • Lead internal control initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors.
  • Implement recommendations from previous audit engagements and risk assessments.

Costing G Inventory Control

  • Oversee costing mechanisms including standard cost reviews and product profitability analysis.
  • Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to optimize inventory management and cost efficiency.

Cash Flow G Working Capital

  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital requirements.
  • Oversee accounts receivable/payable and ensure optimal credit control practices.

Team Leadership G Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Supervise finance team members, providing mentorship and performance guidance.
  • Partner with business units (sales, marketing, operations) to support strategic initiatives and growth plans.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory)
  • Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or CMA) – mandatory
  • Minimum 5–10 years of progressive finance experience
  • Prior experience as an Audit Manager (Big 4 experience is a strong advantage)
  • Industry experience in paints, FMCG, or manufacturing
  • Proficient in Sage X3 ERP – required
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling & BI tools (e.g.,

Power BI)
