Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Functional Business Process Lead – Supply Chain, to join the CCBA Centre of Business Process Excellence (CoBPE) team.
The successful applicant will be reporting into the Shared Services: Operations Manager. This role is responsible for immediate spearheading in the bigger functional towers of the CoBPE with senior level clout, that focus on improvement and roll in of opportunities with immediate effect, while supporting the success of the Shared Services Function through strong capability leadership and self-directed focus. The role will also drive horizontal synergies between and with other functional towers and requires the management of tower leads to ensure that service standards in accordance with defined service level agreements, financial budgets and framework mechanisms are met. It also ensures, develops and maintains a customer service culture with process excellence focus which drives innovation, while coaching and supporting tower owners, to ensure that optimisation initiatives are executed, and transformation capabilities are aligned to group office and markets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Facilitating the integration between Genpact and the CCBA’s infrastructure and digital tools. Leading the functional growth and development of the CoBPE strategy and business plan, guided by the strategy, growth levers, strategic goals and policy of CCBA, and the direction provided by the Shared Services: Operations Manager and GM: Shared Services.
• Delivering profit and performance in line with expectations of the The Coca- Cola Company (TCCC).
• Challenging the function’s Business Process Tower Leads to deliver on stretch targets and support the leadership team in making the right strategic and operational choices in and across their functions.
• Monitoring performance of the functional business process team and ensure improvement plans are put in place to address areas of underperformance.
• Agreeing to strategic initiatives and managing resource allocation across priority areas, within the function. Partnering with the Shared Services: Operations Manager and GM: Shared Services to work with TCCC Business Units to align on short, medium and long term business plans. Working with the CCBA Legal team, Shared Services: Operations Manager and GM: Shared Services
• Establishing Shared Services Agreements aligned to Company Law and the Statutory requirements (Contracts outlining scope of work, Memo of Agreement, Letter of Intent o Service Level Agreements). Supporting the Request for Approval process and obtain the necessary sign-offs, by working closely with the Shared Services: Operations Manager, GM: Shared Services and the The Coca-Cola Company. Recruiting and onboarding members of the respective functional tower’s BPO team into the new ways of working.
• Driving the development and execution of the CoBPE’s business strategy and business plan. In consultation with Shared Services: Operations Manager and GM: Shared Services, identify strategic opportunities to enable local growth levers and associated resource allocation. Collaborating with local functional business on continuous improvement of process and its system support, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Partnering with CCBA Tax team, Shared Services Operations Manager and GM to determine the viability of registration of the organisation’s business financial holdings in identified geographies. Driving Project Horizon’s alignment with the Centre of Scale. Functional ambassador for ONE CCBA standardisation of processes, information and systems, ensuring tactical and strategic execution delivery to business objectives.
• Respecting, promoting and entrenching the CCBA values and desired culture within the local operation, in the context of a cultural integration journey. Creating a forward thinking, innovative and continuous improvement-focused environment leading to high performance and high engagement.
• Holding leaders accountable for the CCBA leadership behaviours /values and ensure appropriate positive and negative consequence management. Supporting and guiding SMEs and building excellence capability in the ONE CCBA processes. Generating analytics and reporting of performance and productivity levels, within the function of the CoBPE. Actively participating to ensure operational planning and budgeting processes.
• Driving continuous improvement within the functional tower. Ensuring financial interests are met in the new ways of work and aligned to financial frameworks. Implementing cost controls and take the required actions, aligned to frameworks. Managing functional authorizations (including security and compliance aspects).
• Managing Functional Incident management and Change Request management.
Skills, Experience & Education Qualifications: Masters Degree in Business Management or equivalent / Expert knowledge of multi-tower disciplines in the function. Experience 10+ years of relevant business experience in the FMCG industry, and 5 years at a senior leadership level. Experience as work stream lead, change manager, stakeholder relationship manager and senior manager in the operations. Strong track record of delivering results over time. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, process expertise, leadership techniques, production methods, coordination of people and resources.
