Job Summary:

To serve as the technical expert for furniture design, manufacturing processes, material selection, and installation. This role ensures product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction by providing solutions and guidance to internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on furniture design, material suitability, joinery, and finishing techniques.
• Interpret client requirements and create or approve technical drawings and production plans.
• Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality in the furniture workshop.
• Resolve technical queries from production teams, installers, and sales staff.
• Conduct quality inspections and advise on corrective actions.
• Stay updated on furniture trends, materials, and manufacturing technologies.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Furniture Technology, Wood Science, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in a furniture manufacturing or design environment.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking, materials, hardware, and finishes.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Cabinet Vision).
• Strong project management and client-facing skills.
