JOB DETAILS:
HR MANAGER
Location: Livingstone or Kabwe, Zambia
Company: (Active in Steel Manufacturing & Electricity Generation)
a leading player in steel manufacturing and power generation, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Human Resources Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be based at either our Livingstone or Kabwe plant and will play a key role in managing and driving strategic HR initiatives to support our diverse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with company goals.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures in compliance with Zambian labor laws.
Design and coordinate performance management and training programs.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Prepare HR reports, budgets, and workforce planning forecasts for management.
Collaborate with management to drive organizational development and change management initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
Professional certification such as ZHRM Membership or ICHRM is an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR leadership role, preferably in the manufacturing, industrial, or energy sectors.
Strong knowledge of Zambian labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office tools.
Willingness to relocate to Livingstone or Kabwe.
