Background
A hands-on Head of Sales to drive revenue growth by owning the full sales cycle—from prospecting and senior-level meetings to proposal, negotiation, and closing. This role requires someone who can confidently engage CEOs, HR Directors, and L&D Managers and consistently convert opportunities into signed business.
She/He will spend 50–70% of their time on active sales generation and will thrive in a commission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver sales targets (pipeline, revenue, conversion).
- Prospect and qualify new clients; build a healthy pipeline.
- Set up and lead high-level meetings with CEOs, HR Directors, and L&D leaders.
- Run discovery, present solutions, prepare proposals, negotiate, and close deals.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and sales reporting.
- Collaborate with:
- Marketing on messaging, lead generation, and campaign feedback
- Finance and GM on pricing, margins, invoicing inputs, and payment terms
- Operations on delivery feasibility, timelines, and onboarding handover
- CX to ensure smooth client onboarding and retention support
- Business Development Specialist on targeting and account penetration
Required Experience
- Strong track record in B2B consultation services selling and closing.
- Extensive experience selling non-tangible products/services, such as: software/SaaS, insurance, EdTech, financial services, training/L&D solutions, professional services, or other digital goods.
- Proven ability to sell to senior stakeholders (CEO/HR/L&D).
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and structured follow-up.
- Experience using a CRM (Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, etc.).

- Executive presence and high-quality communication.
- Strong discovery, objection-handling, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Metrics-driven, organized, and disciplined with pipeline management.
