Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Selection
Coordinate the full recruitment process: advertise vacancies, screen CVs, schedule and conduct interviews, check references, and prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
2. Onboarding & HR Administration
Facilitate orientations and induction for new employees.
Maintain and update employee records/files.
Ensure documentation and filing of personnel data are accurate and up to date.
3. Payroll & Benefits Support
Assist with payroll preparation, attendance submission, leave updates, and statutory deductions like NAPSA, NHIMA, and ZRA.
Coordinate employee benefits where applicable
4. Employee Relations & Compliance
Handle employee relations matters, grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes fairly and efficiently.
Ensure HR activities comply with the Zambian Employment Code and other statutory requirements.
Promote a positive work culture and act as a liaison between employees and management.
5. Performance & Training
Support performance management cycles (reviews, appraisals, performance improvement plans).
Coordinate training needs assessments and training activities to enhance staff skills.
6. Policy & HR Systems
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Produce HR reports and metrics to support management decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Human Resources Management.
- Membership of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) with a valid licence.
- 2 years’ experience in HR operations.
- Sound knowledge of Zambian labour laws and HR best practices.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills
- Confidentiality and professionalism
- Problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
