Position: Insurance Services Representative
Department: Insurance Services

Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our Insurance Services Team. The successful candidate will support the placement of insurance business by coordinating with insurers and internal teams, reviewing policy documentation, and calling for quotations and ensuring a smooth renewal process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify insurance policy documents for accuracy
  • Engage with insurers to obtain and negotiate quotations for new and renewal business
  • Ensure timely processing of all quotations and related documentation internally
  • Process insurance placements with insurance companies accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate with internal departments to fulfil client requests
  • Maintain and update relevant reports and documentation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance personnel dealing with

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Insurance from a recognized institution (minimum requirement)
  • 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in underwriting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Solid understanding of insurance principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Preferred: Experience in underwriting
