Job Title: Internal Auditor
Luapula Water and Sewerage Company Limited – Head Office – Mansa
Reports to: Internal Audit Committee (Functionally)
Reports to: Managing Director (Administratively)
Luapula Water and Company limited is a commercial utility which was set up to provider water and sewerage services to all districts in Luapula Province. The company was incorporated as a provate company limited by shares, under the Companies Act (Cap 388 of the Laws of Zambia) in December 2008. The comany’s mission is to effectively provide water and sanitation services to the urban and peri-urban areas of Luapula Province in a manner that maximizes value for money for all stakeholders. In pursuance of this mission, the Company is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and expenenced candidate to fill the vacancy of INTERNAL AUDITOR. .

Specific responsibilities among many others:
• Establish and implement the annual Audit plan.
• Establish and implements the Audit Charter.
• Review the internal audit control environment.
• Provide assurance of governance processes.
• Recommend corrective measures to strengthen controls.
• Recommend compliance to statutory framework and policies.

Skills and Qualifications
• Full Grade 12 certificate
• Full ACCA, full CIMA full CA Zambia
• 10 years’ experience, 5 of which senior management level
• Member of Z ICA
Added Advantages
• Professional qualifications, i.e. CISA, CIA, CFE
• Work experience in the water sector
• Work experience in an audit firm
• Knowledge on risk management
• Possession of a driving license
