The Planned Parenthood Association of Zambia (PPAZ) continues to support the Government of Zambia in providing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services. PPAZ operates health centers in Lusaka, Kitwe, Livingstone, and Choma, and closely collaborates with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with national health priorities and standards.

In addition to partnerships with the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), the Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning (JOICFP), PPAZ also works with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) of the United Kingdom

PPAZ invites organizations and individuals across all provinces to apply for registration as suppliers and contractors for the provision of goods and services under the categories listed below:

Category C: Car Hire Services

• Hire of vehicles and trucks across all 10 provinces of Zambia, including charter services

Category D: Maintenance Services

• Plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
• Maintenance of firefighting equipment and provision of security services
• Cleaning services, pest control, and waste management
• Maintenance of air conditioners
• Interior and exterior painting
• Landscaping services

Category E: Media and Communication

• Development of communication products and services (Print, audio, pictorial and video)
• Advertising and publishing services
• Supply of music, sports, and art equipment
• Provision of conference sound and video services (e.g., public address systems for indoor and outdoor events)

Category F: General Supplies and Services

• Printing and branding services
• Courier services
• Supply of office stationery and consumables
• Insurance brokerage services
• Provision of food, beverages, and catering supplies
• Backup power solutions (e.g., generators, inverters)
• Supply of uniforms, T-shirts, water tanks, and storage containers

Category G: Computer and IT Services

• IT support services, including network infrastructure and website development
• Supply and maintenance of laptops, printers, and conferencing equipment
• Servicing of office equipment (e.g., copiers, printers, and computers)
• Installation and maintenance of telephone and PABX systems
• Supply, installation and management of computer software (e.g., operating systems, anti-virus, MS Office, Adobe, Zoom and Teams packages)

Category H: Hospitality Services

• Provision of accommodation, lodging, and apartments
• Conference facilities, events management, and catering services

Category I: Medical Equipment and Supplies

• Supply of laboratory equipment and reagents
• Provision of medical equipment and pharmaceutical products

Category J: Freight Clearing Services

• Road and air freight clearing services

Category K: Consultancy Services

• External audit services
• Training and capacity-building services
• Legal services
• Research and development consultancy
• Real estate and property management services
• Immigration and visa services
• Debt collection services
• Management consultancy
• Development of communication products and services

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit the following:

1. Valid Certificate of Registration and Incorporation
2. VAT Certificate, valid Tax Clearance Certificate, and TPIN Registration Certificate
3. Financial statements for the past year or a three-month bank statement
4. Detailed company profile
5. Relevant regulatory certificates (e.g., ZAMRA, ERB, EIZ, NCC, ZEMA, ZPPA, LAZ, ZICA)
6. At least three recommendation letters from other organizations
7. Physical and postal addresses, phone numbers, contact persons, and email addresses
8. Proof of accreditation for IT-related goods and services (e.g., Microsoft, HP, Dell)
9. Proof of compliance with Ministry of Health guidelines for communicable diseases (e.g., COVID-19, cholera) for hospitality providers

Submit a copy of the deposit slip via email to info@ppaz.org.zm to receive a receipt, Supplier Registration Form, and Due Diligence forms. These forms must be submitted with the required documentation.

Applications should be clearly labeled with the category being applied for, e.g., “Registration of Suppliers 2025–2028 – Category C: Car Hire.”
