We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth functioning of the legal department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for law and a knack for multitasking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Manage and maintain legal files, records, and databases.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances for Advocates and Partners.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and confidentiality requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, courts, and other stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Certification in Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a legal environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail.
