Beatmas Human Resource Consultants Limited has been engaged by a leading institution in the banking and financial sector to assist in recruiting a highly motivated, results-oriented, and commercially astute professional to join its dynamic team as Manager – Corporate Banking.

This position presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced banking professional to lead and expand a portfolio of corporate clients, drive business growth, and deliver value-added financial solutions in alignment with the Bank’s strategic objectives.

KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To develop and manage a portfolio of complex corporate client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for financial advice and tailored solutions. The role is responsible for driving business growth through acquisition, retention, and expansion of corporate customers while ensuring sound risk management and portfolio profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Full Grade 12 School Certificate with 5 ‘O’ Level credits.

A bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or any relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CBCA.

Minimum of five (5) years’ progressive experience in Corporate Banking, with at least two (2) years at a senior management level.

Proven experience in structuring complex corporate deals, mobilizing deposits, and managing high-value client relationships.

Strong understanding of Zambia’s financial services sector, corporate landscape, and regulatory environment.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated track record of achieving business growth and delivering strategic outcomes.

  • Participate in tendering for GRZ, CDF, and Social Cash Management opportunities.
  • Offer financing solutions to councils, government spending agencies, and development partners.
  • Forge partnerships with government ministries, agencies, and corporates through digital and integrated banking solutions.
  • Ensure effective portfolio management, credit quality, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with Credit Risk, Treasury, and other departments to deliver holistic banking solutions.
  • Represent the Bank in corporate forums and industry engagements to strengthen market presence and brand visibility.
