The Opportunity
We are seeking a creative and data-driven Marketing Officer based in Lusaka or willing to self-relocate join our growing team in Lusaka. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and drive business growth across our fintech platforms.

What You Will Do
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute integrated marketing plans aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Support the implementation of digital marketing strategies across Hobbiton’s products.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
Content Creation & Management
- Develop engaging and high-quality content for social media, websites, blogs, videos, and newsletters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with product and sales objectives.
- Manage the company’s online presence and ensure impactful messaging across channels.
Campaign & Lead Management
- Plan, launch, and monitor marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and print channels.
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to attract, nurture, and convert leads.
- Track campaign performance and recommend improvements for higher ROI.
Digital & Social Media Marketing
- Manage and grow social media channels to increase engagement and brand visibility.
- Oversee SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) initiatives.
- Analyse social media insights to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and report on campaign effectiveness using analytics tools and CRM systems.
- Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Maintain accurate marketing data and performance dashboards.
What You Will Bring
- Full Grade 12 Certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Must be a paid up member of ZIM
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar marketing role.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy, digital tools, SEO, SEM, and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and project management skills.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Creative, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
