MECHANICAL ARTISAN

GRADE G

CONTRACT: PERMANENT – KITWE

Reporting to the Maintenance Controller brewing and utilities, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

  • Effective maintenance of brewing and utilities
  • Identification of brewing and utilities plant defects and loss of functions
  • Condition monitoring of critical plant Equipment
  • Spear heading of autonomous maintenance in brewing and utilities
  • Ensure reliable operation and availability of brewing and utilities equipment
  • Problem solving at situational level
  • Training of brewing, utilities and milling operators
  • Attending to plant equipment breakdowns
  • Effectively carrying out plant equipment maintenance
  • Maintain a safe working environment that does not violate the Safety, Health and Environment Policy of the organization.
  • Effectively carryout good maintenance strategies

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • More than two years working experience in the fast manufacturing industries (FMCG)
  • Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Advanced certificate or diploma mechanical Engineering fields
