JOB DETAILS:
Handyman’s Lime Limited is an indigenous Zambian Company engaged in Quick Lime manufacturing and trading since 2016. In 2017, the Company entered a management partnership with Carmeuse of Belgium. Carmeuse is the world’s leading producer of Lime and brings into the partnership extensive technical and marketing knowledge gained over 150 years of operations.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant positions in the Company.

Job Title: Mining Engineer
Number of Positions 1

Qualifications:
• Full Grade 12 certificate holder.
• A bachelor’s Degree or Diploma holder in Mining Engineering from UNZA or CBU.
• Completed 2 years graduate development program (GDP).
• 5 years minimum professional field experience in open pit or open cast mining and/or 7 years in underground.
• Registered Engineer with E.I.Z and E.R.B.
• Holder of an un-restricted blasting license.
• Holder of a valid silicosis certificate.
• Holder of valid First Aid certificate.
• Holder of a valid driving license (Manual) to be used as and when required during operations only.
• Mining Software certification (Surpac OR Vulcan and AutoCAD).

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
