JOB DETAILS:
Bambino’s Pub and Grill is an entertainment establishment in Ngwerere Road off Zambezi Road in Lusaka.
We are looking for an expirienced individual to work as a Grill Cook at our Braii Stand. Only Individuals residing in Ngwerere, Ngombe, 6 Miles and Kabanana Areas are encouraged to apply.

Job Descriptions
1. Preparing ingredients and chopping vegetables required for the dish
2. Cutting and seasoning meat before preparation
3. Grilling meat and vegetables at the right temperature and to suit the customer’s taste
4. Checking that the ingredients are safe and consumable
5. Discaring ingredients that have expired and those that are nearing expiry time
6. Ensuring that the dish is served on time and in a presentable manner
7. Monitoring and reordering inventory supplies
8. Regulating the grill temperature to slow cook the meat
9. Cleaning the work station before and after food preparation
10. Maintaining hygiene and safety standards at all times
11. Managing multiple food orders at once
12. Labeling and storing all food items properly and at the right temperature
13. Tasting the dish before serving
14. Checking and receiving raw food items from suppliers
15. Ensuring that the dish is served at the correct temperature

Requirements
1. Grade 12 Certification
2. Certification in Food Nutrition or Related Qualification is an added advantage.
3. Proven work experience in the Hospitality industry
4. Familiarity with grilling equipment like oven, skewers, and chimney starter
5. Knowledge of different grilling methods like direct heat grilling, smoking, and rotisserie grilling
6. Ability to work for long periods and on public holidays
7. Knowledge of industry standards and food safety guidelines
8. Good communication skills
9. Demonstrating proper hygiene behavior
10. Ability to offer excellent customer satisfaction
