Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of curriculum delivery in early years education.
  • Excellent English reading and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in ICT applications, including MS Word, educational  software, and interactive whiteboard techniques (eBeam).

4. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Support the lead teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that meet Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards.
  • Assist in creating an engaging, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record learners’ progress, contributing to reports and parent communications.
  • Support the social, emotional, and academic development of learners.
  • Promote good behaviour, punctuality, and positive attitudes towards learning.
  • Participate in school activities, assemblies, and parent-teacher meetings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective use of resources and best teaching practices.
  • Uphold the school’s Vision and Mission, safeguarding learner well-being at all times.
