JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
Under the immediate supervision of the School Management, Special Needs Preschool Teachers support the social, communication, sensory, and early learning development of children with diverse learning needs. They provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment tailored to each child’s individual abilities and developmental goals. Teachers build strong, collaborative relationships with parents/guardians and relevant specialists to ensure consistent support for each child. They observe, document, and summarise children’s progress, strengths, and areas for growth, with a focus on optimal development and readiness for a supported, successful transition to primary or specialised education settings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 25 years old and above
- Must be a Christian with at least 3 years’ testimony of Christian faith
- Grade certificate with a credit or better in English
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Special Needs Education as a major with any other course.
- Registered with the Teaching Council, having a valid practicing license.
- At least three years of teaching experience with special needs children.
- Demonstrate success in working as a member of a team.
- Demonstrate an ability to work successfully with community-based agencies and build partnerships.
