JOB DETAILS:
Our client is looking for a Processing & Deboning Manager to join their team
Responsibilities
• Ensuring that the holding stock is correct and accurate counting of stock takes place.
• Ensuring that there are no short-dated or expired stock in the deboning and manufacturing departments.
• Supervise and ensure that all standard operating procedures are adhered to within your departments.
• Supervise the dispatching of orders.
• Supervise the receiving of stock and the quality of meat received is up to standard.
• Ensure hygiene is correctly maintained as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Management of staff regarding their performance and industrial relations related to your department.
• Training of employees on how to handle and cut meat, identify different cuts of meat, identifying good or bad quality meat, checking the temperature of meat and how to break up meat carcasses.
• Compiling yield reports and costing of products.

Key Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Qualifications
• Matric.
• Production and Deboning of Mutton, Lamb, Beef and Pork knowledge essential.
• A minimum of 5-10 years’ working experience in production management.
• Must have meat processing industry experience.
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes and HACCP standards.
