JOB PURPOSE
To provide structured operational, administrative, and coordination support to the ERP Project Manager in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring effective planning, tracking, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of project milestones in line with approved governance frameworks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development, maintenance, and regular updating of ERP project plans, schedules, trackers, dashboards, and implementation roadmaps.
- Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements across ZCCM-IH and its subsidiaries.
- Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, maintain action logs, and follow up on agreed actions and deliverables.
- Assist in business requirements gathering, documentation, validation, and maintenance of process flows and functional specifications.
- Support data migration activities, including data preparation, validation, reconciliation, issue tracking, and documentation.
- Maintain and update project risk, issue, and change registers, escalating matters to the ERP Project Manager as necessary.
- Assist in coordinating system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and user sign-off processes.
- Support change management initiatives, including preparation of user communications and coordination of end-user training logistics.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date project documentation, registers, evidence files, and reporting packs to support audit, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time in support of the ERP implementation project.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Minimum level of academic qualifications required to perform effectively in the role
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline
Minimum level of professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) – added advantage
Skills and competencies
Technical:
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and large systems implementation projects
- Understanding of accounting processes and financial systems
- Data documentation, validation, and reconciliation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project tracking tools
Functional:
- Strong organisational, coordination, and follow-up skills
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Stakeholder coordination and meeting facilitation support
Behavioural:
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented with a proactive and supportive approach
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience supporting ERP, financial systems, or large-scale systems implementation projects
Experience working in a multi-stakeholder or multi-entity environment will be an added advantage
