Project Manager – Water & Sanitation Sector
Position: Full-Time
Contract Duration: 1-Year
Location: Lusaka
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of research frameworks, methodologies, and tools relevant to the water and sanitation sector.
- Manage project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring research outputs meet quality standards.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting to inform project decisions and policy recommendations.
- Coordinate field research activities, including surveys, FGDs, and stakeholder consultations.
- Ensure robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) processes are integrated into the project.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, briefs, and presentations for stakeholders and donors.
- Manage partnerships and engage key stakeholders to support research-driven outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with ethical research standards and donor requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Public Health, Water & Sanitation, Environmental Studies, Research Methods, Project Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in research design, research implementation, and advanced data analysis.
- Proven project management experience within the water and sanitation or development sector.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills; experience with research tools and software is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and report-writing skills.
