JOB DETAILS:

We’re looking for a Training Coordinator to join our team and help us develop and deliver training programs that are both innovative and effective. The Training Coordinator will be responsible for working with our team of trainers to create training programs that meet the needs of our Communities, and then coordinating the delivery of those programs.

Training Coordinator responsibilities include communicating with CEO/Coordinator to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals. Training Coordinator is responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs.

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
• Train new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.
• Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
• Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future training sessions.
• Recruit and train new Trainers, delegate training tasks to the new Trainers and evaluate performance.
• Market company training opportunities to employees and provide information on benefits to encourage participation.
• Inform employees on scheduled training and track their progress.
• Recommend training materials and methods, order and maintain in-house training equipment and facilities and manage the budget set for training.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate all training activities to ensure consistent, quality training
• Develop, implement, and evaluate training programs and curriculum
• Develop and update training materials, including procedure manuals and standard operating procedures
• Develop and implement on-the-job training programs and perform employee evaluations
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees
• Schedule and attend all site meetings, safety meetings, and formal training sessions
• Enforce policies and procedures and adhere to all company, governmental, and industry standards
• Supervise all training activities, including instructor and classroom presentations, demonstrations, and exercises
• Provide support during audits by clients, regulatory bodies, and accrediting bodies
• Design and deliver training programs
• Develop and deliver training materials
• Maintain and update existing training programs
• Implement and maintain training documentation
• Oversee the testing and evaluation of training programs
• Coordinate and monitor project implementation, reporting, and scheduling
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors/subcontractors
• Prepare, maintain, and update job-related training and orientation
• Lead project development
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
• Develop and update safety training protocols
• Work with vendors/subcontractors to develop and document specific training protocols
• Oversee training and development programs to ensure employee performance and development

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
• A Master’s degree (minimum) in HR Management/ Development Studies/International Relations /Strategic Management or other relevant field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least three years in a senior role in the international development sector.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, networking and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership, coordination and relationship building skills.
• Current knowledge of development issues, strategies, as well as Programming policies and procedures in international development cooperation.
• Proven ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan and execute ideas, as well as to impart knowledge and teach skills;
• Demonstrated engagement with diverse donors and development partners;
• An effective and energetic team player, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment;
• Strong self-motivation and innovative skills, with capacity to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of grant management, monitoring and evaluation practices, Understanding of development policy research and issues related to inclusive growth and sustainable development in the developing regions.
• Familiarity with web publishing and interactive social media.
• Working knowledge of French and/or Spanish will be an advantage.
• The position is for an initial fixed-term of two (3) years, renewable based on Performance and availability of funds. The position is (Volunteer) with possibilities of full time employment. Qualified women are particularly encouraged to apply.
