Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Rooftop Supervisor with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, specifically within bars, lounges, restaurants, or rooftop venues.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who understands not only service operations, but also how to create, manage, and sustain the right vibe. This role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service Management
- Oversee daily rooftop operations to ensure smooth and consistent service
- Maintain high service standards across bar, kitchen, floor, and security teams
- Supervise peak service periods, themed nights, and special events
Team Leadership & Staffing
- Recruit, train, and manage:
- Waiters and waitresses
- Mixologists and bartenders
- Chefs and kitchen support staff
- Security personnel
- Develop a disciplined, professional, and motivated service culture
- Prepare staff schedules, manage attendance, and enforce SOPs
Guest Experience & Brand Representation
- Serve as the on-site face of Cloud Ace Rooftop during operations
- Engage with guests, manage feedback, and resolve complaints professionally
- Build relationships with regulars, VIP guests, and partners
- Consistently uphold the Cloud Ace Rooftop brand and service values
Events, Entertainment & Atmosphere
- Execute and oversee daily and weekly events, including:
- Karaoke nights
- Movie nights
- Trivia nights
- Dance and themed nights
- Coordinate DJs, hosts, and performers
- Manage music flow and atmosphere to match guest energy and time of day
Stock, Cost & Performance Control
- Monitor bar and service stock levels
- Minimize wastage, losses, and pilferage
- Support inventory tracking and basic cost control reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in hospitality (bar, lounge, restaurant, or rooftop environment)
- Proven leadership experience managing diverse service teams
- Strong understanding of:
- Bar and cocktail operations
- Guest experience and customer retention
- Event-driven service environments
- Excellent communication, people-management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Well-presented, reliable, and detail-oriented
