Job Title: Sales Support Executive – Business Events & Client Services
Location: On-site (Zambia, UK or US)
Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable based on performance)
Working Hours: Full-time or Part-time (depending on experience)
Remuneration: Base + Commission + Performance-Based Bonuses

Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sales Support Executive – Sales & Customer Service to join our team on a 6-month contract. This is a junior-level support role, ideal for someone with a background in business or finance, and proven experience in a sales, sales support, or customer service role. You will help manage email outreach, CRM tracking, client responses, and performance reporting across our corporate data products and business events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team with email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns
  • Draft and personalise outbound emails to prospective clients
  • Conduct research to identify new sales leads and market segments
  • Track and coordinate follow-ups with inbound client queries
  • Maintain and update CRM records with all lead and client activity
  • Support the preparation of sales decks, proposals, and quotes
  • Coordinate communication schedules with the editorial and event teams
  • Meet KPIs for lead engagement, responsiveness, and task completion
  • Produce monthly reports on sales support activity and performance

Requirements:

  • Must have experience in a previous sales, sales support, or customer service role
  • At least 1 year of experience in a corporate or B2B environment is essential
  • Must hold a degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly for professional email interaction
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot) and platforms such as LinkedIn or Mailchimp
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Excellent references are required

Remuneration:

  • This is a paid contractor role, offering a base rate, with commission and performance-related bonuses
