The Sales Representative - Logistics will be responsible for promoting and selling Asia Direct's freight forwarding and logistics services. The role focuses on client acquisition, relationship management and coordination with operations to deliver efficient logistics solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and researching potential clients in import, export, and distribution sectors
  • Preparation of sales quotations for air freight, sea freight, road freight, and customs clearance services
  • Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems
  • Client presentations, proposals, and sales reports
  • Liaise with operations teams to ensure accurate service offerings and pricing
  • Track and follow up on sales leads and customer inquiries
  • Conduct market and competitor research within the freight forwarding industry
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry networking events where applicable
  • Provide general administrative support.

Key Learning Outcomes

  • Understanding of freight forwarding processes (air, sea, road, customs)
  • Exposure to pricing structures, Incoterms, and international trade documentation
  • Development of sales, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Insight into logistics operations and client relationship management

Minimum Requirements

  • Completed a qualification in:
    • Logistics/ Supply Chain Management
    • International Trade
    • Business Management / Sales / Marketing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts (advantageous)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
