JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
The Scale Man is responsible for weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles and materials, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and compliance with load regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the weighbridge to record vehicle weights.
- Ensure correct documentation of all weigh-ins/outs.
- Communicate with drivers and yard staff for smooth traffic flow.
- Detect and report overloads or discrepancies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of scale equipment
Requirements:
- Diploma in logistics or relevant field.
- Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
- Good numeracy and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (weighbridge software experience preferred).
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: associate degree
