Report to: Technical Sales Manager/Territory Manager
Location: Kitwe, Zambia
Sparc Systems Limited is a leading provider of high-end Enterprise IT, committed to delivering cutting-edge technology to enhance user experiences and productivity. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team to contribute to our growth.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and establishing new business opportunities with potential and existing customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design tailored solutions and services.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our products and services.
- Act as a technical expert during pre-sales engagements, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Analyze customer needs and align them with appropriate products and solutions.
- Work closely with clients to gather technical requirements and provide guidance on product configurations.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our product offering and communicate its value proposition effectively to customers.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide feedback from customer interactions to help improve product features and functionality.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting technical issues and coordinate with the support team to ensure prompt resolution.
- Serve as a point of contact for customers post-sale, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in relevant technologies such as Microsoft and IBM are a plus.
- experience in technical sales or a similar customer-facing role.
- 2 years experience of in-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Replication systems, virtualization and cloud computing.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Should have professional enterprise IT certifications such as in Microsoft Fundamentals. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or related areas. 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure design and management Proficiency with operating systems (e.g., Linux), server hardware, and network technologies. Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Understanding of IT security principles and best practices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work in a team and independently.
