Tender for provision of consultancy services to undertake feasibility assessment at Industrial Development Corporation (IDC)

Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) has set aside funds towards the cost of engaging a consultant to undertake feasibility assessment and market study together with conceptual designs on selected tourism sites and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this provision to cover eligible payments under the contract resulting from this Tender.
IDC is seeking a qualified and experienced consultant preferably with relevant expertise to conduct the assignment on selected tourism sites.

Bidding will be conducted using the Open Interational Selection (OIS) procedures specified in the current Zambia Public Procurement Act of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2011 and is open to all prospective consultants who are required to meet the minimum key qualification criteria relating to previous experience, financial and technical capacity indicated in the Request for Proposals.
Firms will be selected under Quality and Cost Based Selection procedures and in a Full Technical Proposal (FTP) format as described in this RFP.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English should be purchased by shortlisted bidders from IDC, Procurement & Supplies Department, 61 Independence Avenue, Prospect Hill, Lusaka, Zambia upon payment of a non-refundable fee of US$70.00 and ZMW1,000.00 for foreign and local bidders respectively. Payments should be made either through bank transfer or deposit. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration valid for 118 days from date of bid opening. Bidders can transfer or deposit the non-refundable fee in the following IDC US Dollar Bank Account and Zambian Kwacha Bank Account:

Submission Procedure
Bidders should bring the deposit slip to IDC offices to obtain an official receipt.
Sealed Bids for the "TENDER FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO UNDERTAKE FEASIBILITY ASSESSMENT AND MARKET STUDY TOGETHER WITH CONCEPTUAL DESIGNS ON SELECTED TOURISM SITES IN ZAMBIA" must be deposited in the tender box situated at the IDC Reception, on 61 Independence Avenue, Prospect Hill, Lusaka on or before Friday 27 May 2022 at 15:00 hours local time and must be accompanied Bid-Securing Declaration. Late, faxed and electronic bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened thereafter in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
