Tender for the Supply and Delivery of Water Meters and Installation Fittings - LWSC/OIB/G-005/2021

Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited has set aside funds in its annual budget towards the cost for procurement of water meters and installation fittings, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing towards payments under the Contract for the supply and delivery of water meters and installation fittings

The Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company now invites scaled bids from eligible and qualified International and National companies to submit bids for the supply and delivery of water meters and installation fittings as shown below

LOT 1 -SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 3250 WATER METERS

LOT 2 - SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF WATER METER INSTALLATION FITTINGS

Bidding will be conducted through Open International Bidding procedures as specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2011

Qualifications requirements are provided in the Bidding Document
Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than two percent (2%) of the Bid Sum duly signed and sealed by the guarantor(s) as per sample form provided in the bidding document

The Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One thousand kwacha (K 1,000.00) The method of payment will be in Cash or Bank Certified Cheque. The Bidding Documents will be collected by bidders from the LWSC Head Office

Submission Procedure

The Bids must be appropriately bound, sealed and bold labelled and delivered to the address below at or before 10:30 hours on Friday, 22 October 2021. Bids MUST be clearly marked. “TENDER No. LWSC/OIB/G-001/2021 FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF WATER METERS AND INSTALLATION FITTINGS" Late bids will be rejected

The closing date for the receipt of the bids is Friday, 22 October 2021 at 10.30 hours local time. The bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the Conference Room, Procurement Department Offices situated at LWSC Head Office, in the presence of bidders or representatives who may choose to attend

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document at LWSC Limited Head Office, during working hours at the address below. The bidding documents can also be accessed for inspection on LWSC website: https://www.lwsc.com.zm/tenders
However telegraphic and/or electronic offers will not be accepted
